Camellia oil is a powerhouse of nutrition. It is one of the few edible oils that contains nutrients other than the essential fatty acids. Its fat composition gets a lot of attention because it is similar to olive oil. SunPlan®Camellia oil has almost 90 % unsaturated fat, which is unique among oils. Of this unsaturated fat, oleic acid is a significant part. It is the complete fatty acid composition of camellia oil.

SunPlan® Camellia Oil is ideal for cooking due to its high smoke point of 485F/252C. Other common oils for cooking only reach up to 400F. SunPlan® Camellia Oil can be used in salad dressings, dips, marinades and sauces, for sautéing, stir frying and frying and in margarine production.

SunPlan® selected camellia oil grows in seeds of camellia above elevation of 600 meters in Fujan Zherong, China. Zherong is the first county rated on the Nationally Designated EcoDemonstration Region. It is also the first livable city recognized by the national government for the elderly.
